About this Nominee

The Germania Farmer Verein (German Farmer’s Club) was established in 1875 as a social and benevolent organization. Today the Verein has approximately 350 members and just recently allowed for women to become auxiliary members to the once, male-only membership, club. Today the Verein is an active sponsor in Comal County’s local scholarship program and they have awarded many scholarships to deserving young adults in the area. Our organization will be celebrating 150 years in October 2025.
